School Advisory Council
According to the Archdiocese of Portland’s Constitution for School Advisory Councils, the “purpose of the Advisory Council shall be to provide policy direction for program needs of the school, especially in Planning, Finance and Development; to promote the implementation of said policies; and to insure that all local policies are in accord with the intent and spirit of the policies established for the Catholic schools of the Archdiocese of Portland.”
2014-15 School Advisory Council Members:
Curt Shenk (Chair), Esmerelda Angulo, Jackie Ardrey, Shelley Hovelman, Jason Jantzer, Jose Romo, Dean Russo, and Whitney Yeamans. Fr. Ken Sampson, Marie Chandler, Lori Conner, and Patrick Gross participate as ex officio, non-voting members.

Sacred Heart Catholic School affirms parents as the primary teachers of their children.
