Wow! It’s almost Christmas! The students are very excited about the upcoming Christmas break and Christmas Day! We love hearing about their Christmas wishes! The greatest thing to hear is when they follow up those wishes with a conversation about the true meaning of Christmas. It’s a beautiful thing to hear children truly understand the reason for the season.
What a wonderful concert we had on Monday night and what a lovely way to celebrate the true meaning of the season… with family and song. Great job! We had several glowing com- ments from parents: “I thought the concert was very good. The kids sang beautifully and it was very organized.”

What an incredible and moving Veterans Day Assembly we had on Friday. We are so glad we started this wonderful tradition. Some of the highlights…Thank you to Captain William Haden who was our guest speaker. Captain Haden is a father of 3 and a current 15 year veteran in the National Guard. He talked about SACRIFICE, HERITAGE, PRIDE AND LOVE FOR OUR COUNTRY.
SHCS welcomes all our families to our second annual Veterans Day Assembly. We will celebrate with poetry readings, prayers, home made flags and more. Families are welcome to invite any relatives who are active duty, former or retired to attend. We would love to be able to honor them.
What a wonderful jogathon we had today! Thanks to all you remarkable parents for all your hard work. The jogathon could not happen without you.
Speaking of outstanding parents, how fantastic that everyone came through and we are having our Harvest Festival. Misty Williams is hard at work planning this very special event!
Just a reminder that there is no school (Preschool through 8th grade) on Friday. You get the day off! While you are enjoying a no school day, your teachers will be in school learning new information. The SHCS Daycare will be open, please sign up in advance. No drop ins, please. Tally day is this Thursday so don’t forget to bring your pledges in on Thursday.
GET YOUR TICKETS! Sacred Heart School Presents The FOURTH ANNUAL SHCS FALL HARVEST FESTIVAL Friday, October 25th from 6 8:30 PM. Order forms are being sent home today. Just fill it out, send it back with the payment attached to the front office. The tickets will go home with your child! EASY PEASY!
What a wonderful time we had at Crazy Hat Day. There were some extremely creative hats out there. And thanks to everyone for bringing in so many pledges that we were able to do this. Keep up the good work! If we make our $8,000 goal for this week, the kids get an EXTRA RECESS!!!
