Congratulations to the Middle School who did a fabulous job in their performances of Alice in Wonderland over the weekend. They worked hard on this musical, and it showed. Our apologies to Daniel Cooper, whose name was inadvertently left off the program. Daniel played the Ace of Spades! It was a thrill to see so many of our 2018 graduates who showed up to cheer on the Middle School students at the play.
Thank you so much for attending the Margari- taville Auction. It was a great event and many memories were made. Our sales continue with the fire sale in the hallway. Make sure you take time to look at the photos of our students and the remain- ing the silent auction packages. There is still time for you to be part of the Margaritaville auction and support our school. This year we started our first Annual Giving Tree. If you are interested you can donate in increments of $500, $1,000, $2,000, $3,000, $5,000 or even $10,000.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Spring Break. It sure went quickly! And now on to our next big event…the SHCS Margaritaville Auction is this Saturday and you don’t want to miss our school’s largest community building event! It’s a night of mingling, auction fun, dinner and dancing. Funds raised at the auction go toward a significant portion of our school’s operating expenses supporting our extraordinary teachers and specialists, providing classroom supplies, technology and so much more.
What a whirlwind few weeks this has been. It’s hard to believe that Spring Break is only a few days away. And the Saturday after we return is the SHCS Margaritaville Auction! Don’t forget that our 19th Annual “Into the Heart of the Cup” Golf Tournament is right around the corner, Friday, May 17 at Centennial Golf Club…

If you haven’t registered already, please do so quickly. If a class fills up, your child will be wait listed. If you are hesitating for financial reasons, please contact Terry Fry (email@example.com)or Leslie Jones (firstname.lastname@example.org). Our amazing Lady Knights have done it again… Congratulations to the new Champions of the St. Paul’s Tournament!!! And if that wasn’t thrill-ing enough our Boys Knights are proudly bringing home the tro-phy for best sportsman-ship! Athletes you have made our school and the entire Sacred Heart community so proud! Congratulations!
Last week we had a Brain Bowl competition here at the school against St. Mary’s. Our coaches were Mrs. Schweit-zer and Mrs. Jones and our moderator was Mr. Majors (our library volunteer extraordinaire). This is a brand new activity for our students and we are very proud of how they have been performing. Our next competition is here on Feb. 21 against Eagle Point
What a wonderful visit everyone had with Archbishop Sample. He was down here for a few days for a whirlwind visit of Southern Oregon. He was able to visit all the classrooms including the STEM lab and the ABL lab. Thanks for the visit, Archbishop Sample!. It was a thrill for everyone!
It was so wonderful to see so many hap-py families at our Catholic Schools Week dinner! Thank you for attending. It was quite a week. Thank you to everyone who attended Mass at the beginning of CSW. We had several com-pliments from the church community about the Mass and seeing so many from the school represented there. The show choir did a wonderful job singing with the adult choir.
