Student Athletics

A successful interscholastic sports program is one in which the student athlete achieves personal and spiritual growth within an enjoyable yet challenging atmosphere and which enhances the student athlete’s overall educational experience. Sacred Heart Catholic School values the participation and necessity of a sports program in our elementary and middle schools. We believe athletic opportunities promote sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and athletic development individually and as a team. We want to encourage and develop being a Life Long learner in our fitness and sports skills, being a Responsible Citizen by respecting our commitments, and learning how to be a Christian Role model in sportsmanship.

Cross Country Track

Middle School students run with all Middle Schools throughout the Rogue Valley.

Volleyball

The volleyball season will kick off with their first practice on the first day of school, Monday, August 31st and run until October. Check the School Calendar for the schedule.

Football

The football team will be combining with St. Mary’s football team and playing 11 man football this season.

Boys Basketball

Boys basketball runs from the end of October until Christmas break. The boys varsity team will compete in the St. Paul’s tournament in February.

Girls basketball runs from January to February. The girls varsity team will compete in the St. Paul’s tournament in February.

Track

Our track season is for both boys and girls. We compete in 13 events. The season begins in March and ends the first part of May.
