2021 Jog-a-Thon / Maze-a-Thon

“This is our first year at Sacred Heart and we are so happy! We were warmly welcomed into the school community and impressed with the individual attention given to each child. Thank you to the school for taking all the health and safety precautions necessary for such a challenging time. Our child loves going to school!”

2022 JOG-A-THON FUN FACTS

This event is a 44-year old school tradition promoting fitness and community support of our school.  Students gather pledges for five weeks before the event takes place.  This year, our 45th Annual Jog A Thon will be at Spiegelberg Stadium on Thursday, October 13 from 8:30am – Noon.  Students walk/jog/run around the track for 3.5 hours.

Students who run 40 laps/10 miles will be awarded into the RAVE Orthodontics 10-Mile Club.  They receive a dri-fit t-shirt and Dr. Ravassipour donates $10 to the school for each student in the club.  Our fundraising goal is $30,000 this year.  Jog A Thon pledges support teachers, classrooms, and keep tuition costs down.

The student distance record is 22.5 miles which was set in 2014 by Emma Schmerbach who is now running track and playing basketball at Linfield University in McMinnville, Oregon.

The most money raised by a single student was $9,382.50 in 2019 by Channing Driscoll who is now in 7th grade at St. Mary’s School.
